Well, as some of you know I started a little record label called Meaningless World Records in 2011. The idea behind the label was to put out my albums as well as some side projects. MWR put out Warren Teagarden and The Good Grief in September of 2011. We've just finished a new album and it should be released in fall or winter of 2013. After that I've got a few more ideas in the works. First, I think it'd be nice put out Ugly as a Monkey on vinyl. Second, I've got some other songs written (well, partially written) that I don't want to release as "Warren Teagarden" songs. These other songs owe a lot to my love of Dead Milkmen and Ween and bands like that. So I've been kicking around the idea of doing a band called Wet Hugs in which I could play some silly-as-shit type numbers without encroaching on the quiet somber dignity of Warren "This Song Is About Sex With An Alien" Teagarden. Details on the third project are a bit up in the air, but it involves most or all of the members of my backing band The Good Grief. More info coming soon.

We haven't played Hotel Utah in quite some time, so it'll be nice to bring our rockin' ways down to the SOMA once again. It'll be a full on Warren Teagarden and The Good Grief show, with Anthony on drums, Okay on bass, Becky on backing vocals and percussion, and Pete playing lead guitar. Before us is the always stupendous Clamhawk Manor. And opening the show all the way from our nation's capitol is Teething Veils. (And a special thanks to Becky for the sweet flyer!)

The time for the sneaking of peaks has arrived. This song is Called Love Your City. I like to think it's about Agoraphobia vs. Nostalgia vs. Civic Pride. But what do I know? This is a song from the upcoming album. This is the final mix, although it is unmastered so you might need to crank the ol' speakers up a bit.

Do you like sitting on your ass watching music videos? I think we both know the answer to that question. Well you can now go RIGHT HERE to see a variety of Warren Teagarden videos; some from live shows, some official videos, and some that, let's face it, are just a picture with a song playing. And aren't all music videos basically just pictures with songs playing? Well, kinda. Once again that channel is RIGHT HERE!

A few years ago I embarked on a project of calendographic insanity. I set the goal for myself to see 30 shows in 30 nights in San Francisco in the month of September 2008. Well, I was sick one night and another night I just could not find a show I wanted to attend. I saw only 28 shows in that September. Well, I have failed before and I will surely fail again but this particular bungle just will not stand. There is time still for a little more insanity is there not?  History repeats itself and so do I. In September of 2013 I will again attempt to see 30 shows in 30 nights in San Francisco.
