The new album has taken over two years to get here but the wait will be worth it! The album is officially released Tuesday November 12 on Meaningless World Records. The album release show is Friday November 15 at Hotel Utah in San Francisco. This album includes 11 songs, all of which were released previously as "demos" from 2006-2009, While those recording were great learning experiences and fine releases on their own, some of the songs always felt like they were missing something. In some cases, my singing wasn't the greatest. Sometimes the guitar tone seemed a bit off. In a few cases the damn tempo was too slow! These newly recorded versions are as close as I can get to perfect for now.

I haven't updated this site in a long time. I'll do better going forward. I've been busy writing and playing and such. But we have a new album called Modern Drugs coming out this Fall and it sounds real good. More details coming soon on that. Below is a sneak peek of the album cover. You'll have to imagine the words "Warren Teagarden and The Good Grief" and "Modern Drugs" written somewhere on there, but you get the idea.
Wow, thanks so much to all the college radio stations out there supporting All the Brown and Green. Really appreciate it. Please feel free to call your local station and request a tune or two from the new album.
Well, the new album has been mixed and mastered for quite some time now. You can listen to four of the new songs here. I have no idea when the album will be available for sale. I've contacted a few record labels but none seem interested in putting it out. Are they all a bunch of horrendous fuckers? That remains to be seen. I may have enough money to press up a few copies this year as I've got a temp job and that's at least a little money coming in. If you're interested in helping get the new record out please consider buying some of the older albums and encouraging everyone you know to do the same. It costs a ton of money to put out a record and it kills me that this one is just sitting on the shelf. These new songs are great and I can't wait for you to hear them!
For the measly price of just $6 you are to be entertained for hours on end and loved like the warmth of winter sun. In all likelihood you won't have to work the following day so this is the correct Sunday on which to stay out a bit. You can ease into evening enjoying friends and beers and the strange sounds that humans do sometimes make. If further incentive is required, let me state right here and now that I will indeed be using BOTH hands on the guitar this time. Be there at 8pm and don't forget to say hello. If you'd like to buy the songs digitally you now can. Convenient, huh? Just go to warrenteagarden.bandcamp.com and all your problems will soon be at an end. I just might add some of the new songs as sort of "digital singles" so stay tuned on that one.
I've written some short stories and put them on a website. Go ahead and read them and let me know your thoughts. The site is called Reverse Decapitation Kit. And always remember: It's never easy putting your head back on, but it's not impossible.

Warren Teagarden
I'm a singer/songwriter from San Francisco doing punk based indie pop type stuff. I also really like cats. (The animal not the musical.) Archives
